Preformed Armor Rods

The single and double support lengths appear as S and D on the length column. There is also a rod diameter which supports in arriving at the applied overall equipment diameter. The rods per set indicate the actual number of rods for each application. There is also a center mark that establishes the recommended rod alignment during the application.

The line guard is intended to provide protection against arc over and abrasion while also offering limited repair. The protection degree required on a specified line is depending on the factors like line design, exposure to wind flow, tension, and history of vibration on similar construction.
